When there is a silicone connector(rubber strip) between PCB and LCD screen, try to remove it and clean all contact surfaces carefully with isopropanol and a wadding stick.(Never use anything abrassive on the glass display contacts.) Also turning the silicone strip upside-down can help to improve the contact.I fixed e.g. my MB MicroVision handheld game this way. When an LCD display is connected with a glued foil ribbon cable which came loose at its contacts,it can help much to put a strip of rubber(from old bi- cycle tube) and/or some hotglue on its backside to press it tighter to the contact row by closing the case with its screws.(As a child I damaged the cable in my "Casio ML90" melody calculator, and I also got it fixed by this measure.) [later added note: Window insulation silicone foam strips work even better than normal rubber,be- cause they are compressible and though better press the foil cable in place. ] MAY THE SOFTWARE BE WITH YOU! *============================================================================* I CYBERYOGI Christian Oliver(=CO=) Windler I I (teachmaster of LOGOLOGIE - the first cyberage-religion!)
